Pelle Tornberg has over 35 years of experience in the media and telecommunication industry and is profiled as one of 25 “Stars of Europe” by Business Week.  Since 2007 he is the owner of SeaBay Capital with investments in Starz Play Arabia, Metro USA, HBO Nordic etc.

Since 2017 he is a member of the Red Bee Media Advisory Board (prior to that he was Senior Advisor to Ericsson Broadcast and Media Services). He is Advisor to National Research Institute of Soft Power, China, as well as Senior Advisor to Axel Johnson AB and Telia Company AB. From 1989 to 2007 Pelle developed the media business in Kinnevik Group, public Scandinavia based Investment Company. He has successfully built, listed and led two profitable, international media businesses: MTG (director, chairman and CEO 1993-2009) and Metro International (CEO 2000-2007) and has been a chairman/ Director of several public and private companies.
In his initial days at Kinnevik Group (1988) he started Strix Television, now one of the biggest TV production companies in the Nordics and a prominent player in the international market.
Pelle completed his Studies at the Department of Journalism, University of Gothenburg.
